The Geagley Indictment and the Questions That Remain:

- PROLOGUE: A Plea Deal, A Cover-Up, and Unanswered Questions On June 10, 2026, Di Ann Rae Geagley stood before Judge Mark Monson in the Nez Perce County District Court and received her sentence: a withheld judgment, 45 days in county jail (with 30 days discretionary), and seven years of felony probation. She had pleaded guilty to embezzling $554,000 from Travelland RV between 2021 and 2025—a crime that had been reported to the Lewiston Police Department years earlier, only to be dismissed by Andrew Fox,

the three officers I watched taking substantial cash bribes from Tim Krueger. Geagley's attorney, Richard Cuddihy of Knowlton & Miles, PLLC, negotiated a mediated plea deal that allowed his client to avoid prison time. The victims agreed to no jail time. The court ordered restitution of $233,522.08. And the case was closed. But the case is far from closed for those of us who have been documenting the pattern of corruption that enabled this crime to go unpunished for years. On July 1, 2026, LCV Blotter sent an inquiry to Mr. Cuddihy seeking answers about his client's case, the mediation process, and the conflicts of interest that have pervaded the prosecution. This article publishes that inquiry and explains why the questions we raised demand answers. - CHAPTER I: The Whistleblower's Account For over five years, I have reported the same set of facts: that Travelland RV, a Lewiston-based RV dealership, was a hive of financial fraud, tax evasion, and bribery of local law enforcement. My reports were summarily closed by the police officers I watched taking bribes. My grievances to the Idaho State Bar were dismissed. And the Nez Perce County Prosecutor's Office—led by Justin Coleman—did nothing. Then, in March 2026, the State of Idaho secured a guilty plea after the October 2025 indictment of Di Ann Geagley for embezzling $554,000 from Travelland RV. The indictment proved that the crimes I reported to Fraternal Order of Police President, Lewiston City Police Captain Andrew Fox in the beginning of 2021 were very real. The timeline is not a coincidence: - April 2022 – I report embezzlement and tax evasion at Travelland RV to Officer Andrew Fox (who later received a "Community Champion Award" from Hannah Liedkie's nonprofit). No action is taken. - April 2022 - Trae Turner and (former) wife Kali Jo Parker donate $500 to Coleman's election campaign. - May 2025 – I file grievances against Justin Coleman, April Smith, Patty Weeks and Trae Turner with the Idaho State Bar. - October 2025 – Geagley indicted (previously under seal). - November 2025 - Patty Weeks hearing before the Idaho State Supreme Court - January 2026 – Coleman, Smith, and Turner sit for bar hearings. None of them mention the indictment. Coleman's lawyer, Trae Turner, paints me as delusional. - February 2026 – The Lewiston Tribune publishes news of the Geagley indictment. I immediately serve the indictment on the bar. The Idaho State Bar dismisses my complaints against ISB Commissioner Weeks, Smith, Turner, and Coleman. The Coleman hearing committee acknowledged the indictment but dismissed it, saying "an article in a newspaper about charges is not a verdict or conviction." They ignored that their own office filed the charges—and that those charges vindicated every report I had made. - CHAPTER II: The Network That Protects The story of how that indictment was delayed—and how a web of personal relationships, dual identities, campaign contributions, and family ties continues to shield the powerful—is the real scandal. At the center of that web is Trae Turner, an Idaho attorney who: - Represents Justin Coleman - Represents the mistress Heather Moore of a sitting county commissioner, Doug Havens - Currently represents Travelland RV - Until recently, was married to a deputy prosecutor in Coleman's own office, Kali Jo Parker - Formerly a deputy of Asotin County Prosecutors Office Public records and sworn testimony confirm that Justin Coleman's mother is a Turner—making Trae Turner a relative by blood or marriage to Coleman. This is not a distant coincidence. Coleman himself has publicly stated that Trae Turner was the best man at his wedding. Campaign finance records show that Turner and his then-wife, Kali Jo Parker, each donated the statutory maximum of $500 to Coleman's campaign on the same day in April 2022 Colemans office received a grievance regarding the embezzling. The question is simple: How did a $554,000 embezzlement go uninvestigated for years while a whistleblower was dismissed? The answer, we believe through documents obtained, lies in the network that protects its own. - CHAPTER III: The Questions We Asked Richard Cuddihy On July 1, 2026, we sent the following inquiry to Mr. Cuddihy. We publish it here in full so that the public may judge for themselves whether the answers he provides—if any—are adequate. --- To: rickcuddihy@gmail.com From: lcvblotter@gmail com Subject: Inquiry Regarding State v. Di Ann Rae Geagley (CR35-25-6247) and Related Matters --- Mr. Cuddihy, My name is Corey Switzer, and I am an investigative journalist with LCV Blotter, an independent watchdog journalism project focused on government accountability and public corruption in the Lewis-Clark Valley and beyond. I am writing to you today regarding your representation of Di Ann Rae Geagley in State of Idaho v. Di Ann Rae Geagley, Case No. CR35-25-6247, in the Nez Perce County District Court. As you are aware, Ms. Geagley pleaded guilty to Grand Theft on March 24, 2026, and was sentenced on June 10, 2026, to a withheld judgment, 45 days in county jail (with 30 days discretionary), and seven years of felony probation. I am writing to you not as an adversary, but as a journalist seeking to understand the full context of this case, which has been a focal point of a years-long pattern of corruption and obstruction that LCV Blotter has been documenting. The Whistleblower's Account For over five years, I have reported the same set of facts: that Travelland RV, a Lewiston- based RV dealership, was a hive of financial fraud, tax evasion, and bribery of local law enforcement. My reports were called "delusional." My grievances to the Idaho State Bar were dismissed. And the Nez Perce County Prosecutor's Office - led by Justin Coleman - did nothing. At the center of that web is Trae Turner, an Idaho attorney who represents Justin Coleman, represents the mistress Heather Moore of a sitting county commissioner, Doug Havens, currently represents Travelland RV, and - until recently - was married to a deputy prosecutor in Coleman's own office, Kali Jo Parker. Public records and sworn testimony confirm that Justin Coleman's mother is a Turner - making Trae Turner a relative by blood or marriage. This is not a distant coincidence. Our Questions for You Mr. Cuddihy, as the attorney who successfully negotiated a mediated plea deal for your client who received less than 8 weeks jail time for a severe felony you are in a unique position to provide insight into this case. We would appreciate your perspective on the following questions: 1. The Mediation Process: The court records indicate that a mediation was held before Judge Jay Gaskill on February 23, 2026, and a Rule 11 plea agreement was reached the following day. Were you aware at that time that a whistleblower had been reporting these very crimes to the Lewiston Police Department since 2021? Were you aware that the Nez Perce County Prosecutor's Office had close ties to Trae Turner, lawyer for Travelland RV? 2. The Victims' Consent: You have stated publicly that the plea deal was mediated by all parties, including the victims, who agreed to no jail time. Who specifically represented Travelland RV in these mediations? Was it Trae Turner or another attorney from Clark & Feeney? 3. The Timing: Ms. Geagley was indicted in October 2025, just months after I filed ethics grievances against Justin Coleman, April Smith, and Trae Turner. Did you or your client have any knowledge of these grievances at the time of the mediation or plea negotiations? Were you aware that Ms. Geagley's employer, Travelland RV, was at the center of those grievances? 4. The Conflict of Interest: Given that Justin Coleman's office prosecuted your client, and that Coleman's relative and personal attorney, Trae Turner, represented Travelland RV, did you have any concerns about conflicts of interest in the prosecution of this case? 5. The Restitution: The court ordered restitution of $233,522.08. Has any of this restitution been paid? And do you know if Travelland RV has taken any steps to recover the remaining $320,000 that was embezzled? 6. Your Client's Cooperation: Was Ms. Geagley's guilty plea part of a cooperation agreement? Did she provide information about other individuals involved in the financial crimes at Travelland RV? The Public Interest Mr. Cuddihy, we are publishing this inquiry as part of our ongoing investigation into the pattern of corruption that has pervaded the Lewis-Clark Valley for years. The Geagley indictment proves that the crimes I reported were real. The Kuzik letter proves that the cover- up was intentional. The Liedkie invoice proves that transparency was for sale. And the pattern of deference proves that the system was designed to protect the powerful at the expense of the public. Please see the article published on LCV Blotter: https://lcvblotter.com/@corey/article/nez-perce-county-prosecutor-justin-coleman-s- travelland-rv-problem We would welcome the opportunity to speak with you further about this matter. - CHAPTER IV: Why These Questions Matter The Geagley case is not an isolated incident. It is the culmination of a five-year pattern of obstruction, retaliation, and cover-up by the City of Lewiston and Nez Perce County. The Geagley indictment proves that the crimes I reported were real. The embezzlement was not a figment of my imagination—it was a half-million-dollar theft that went uninvestigated for years while I was dismissed. The Kuzik letter proves that the cover-up was intentional. Lewiston Police Chief Jason Kuzik admitted in writing that no CAP sheets exist for cases 22-L5337 and 23-L17433—meaning the cases were never forwarded to the prosecutor. The cases were never investigated. The evidence was never reviewed. The Liedkie invoice proves that transparency was for sale. Hannah Liedkie signed a public records invoice demanding $8,733.12 to process a request for emails between Justin Coleman, April Smith, and Trae Turner—emails that would reveal exactly what the Prosecutor's Office knew about the embezzlement and why they failed to act for years. The pattern of deference proves that the system was designed to protect the powerful at the expense of the public. The Lewiston Police Department defers to the Prosecutor's Office. The Prosecutor's Office defers to the Police Department. The Mayor defers to the Prosecutor. The City Council blocks whistleblowers. The Idaho State Bar dismisses grievances without investigation. Each branch protects the next. The system is closed to outsiders and whistleblowers. - CHAPTER V: What We Are Asking of Richard Cuddihy At this moment, we do NOT believe Mr. Cuddihy is not a member of the network. He is a private attorney who represented a client in a criminal case. He is not Justin Coleman. He is not Trae Turner. He is not Hannah Liedkie. But he is in a unique position to provide answers that the network has refused to provide. He was present at the mediation. He knows who represented Travelland RV. He knows what was discussed. He knows whether his client provided information about other individuals involved in the financial crimes. We are not asking Mr. Cuddihy to betray client confidentiality. We are asking him to provide whatever information he can—information that could help the public understand how a $554,000 embezzlement went unpunished for years while a whistleblower was silenced. We are also asking him to consider whether the prosecution of his client was tainted by the conflicts of interest that pervade the Nez Perce County Prosecutor's Office. If Justin Coleman's office was prosecuting a case involving Travelland RV—a client of Coleman's relative and personal attorney, Trae Turner—was the prosecution fair? Was it impartial? Or was it designed to protect the network? These are questions that demand answers. - CHAPTER VI: The Public's Right to Know The public has a right to know how their tax dollars are being spent and how their elected officials are serving—or failing to serve—the public interest. The public has a right to know why a $554,000 embezzlement went uninvestigated for years. The public has a right to know why a whistleblower was dismissed while the crimes he reported were later proven to be real. The public has a right to know why the Idaho State Bar dismissed grievances against Justin Coleman, April Smith, Patty Weeks and Trae Turner without investigating the evidence. And the public has a right to know whether the prosecution of Di Ann Geagley was tainted by the conflicts of interest that pervade the Nez Perce County Prosecutor's Office. We will continue to ask these questions until we get answers. - CONCLUSION: The Investigation Continues LCV Blotter will continue to investigate the pattern of corruption that has pervaded the Lewis-Clark Valley for years. We will continue to publish our findings. We will continue to demand accountability. The Geagley indictment proves that the crimes I reported were real. The Kuzik letter proves that the cover-up was intentional. The Liedkie invoice proves that transparency was for sale. And the pattern of deference proves that the system was designed to protect the powerful at the expense of the public. This is not about incompetence. This is about a deliberate, coordinated effort to shield corruption and punish those who expose it. This article is a publication of LCV Blotter, an independent watchdog journalism project. All documents cited are public records and are available upon request. The investigator is visually impaired, has no income, and has spent five years documenting a pattern of corruption that crosses state lines. The cover‑up is exposed. The receipts are public. The process continues.
